About Me

I'm a Christian, wife and mother of two young adult kids who still live at home.

I was born in Florida, but spent my elementary years in the suburbs of Philadelphia. We then moved back to Florida. (It was great getting to grow with snow!) After my husband and I got married we moved back up to Pennsylvania, only in the Allentown Area this time. Again, I loved the snow. Both our children were born there, so they got to grow up with snow too.

It was in Allentown that I met Liz Kuhns, a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, at church. She invited me to one of her events, and I was hooked. I started taking classed with her and continued for years. And although I'm back in Florida now, and buy from many different stamp companies now, Liz is still my demonstrator.

We moved back to Florida in 2012 because my husband lost his job. We both found work here and I got reacquainted with some old friends. It's great to be around family again too.

During the day I work at a small family business called Monk's Meadow. We make cheesecake mixes, dip mixes and few other dry products. We sell both wholesale all over the country and retail as well. I wear many hats there, from answering the phones and creating Constant Contact newsletters to mixing and packaging the products. Sometimes I even have to ship packakage and mop the floors too! It's a great job and I really love it.

We live in a little house on a little lake in a little town called Kenneth City, Florida. It's known for it's speed traps and great police department. It's motto is a "safe, friendly small town," and it really is.

We attend Bridgepoint Church, one of the fastest growing churches in the country! I also enjoy crocheting and attend a crochet group with a long-time friend at a Methodist church that donates our work to those in nursing homes.

Lastly, we have a really sweet Cockapoo named Belle. We got her as a puppy in 2014 and she's the little joy of our house.

Thanks so much for stopping by my little blog today!
