The Paper Players Color Challenge (PP380)

I'm getting this challenge in with just minutes to go before the deadline. While organizing a lot of blog challenges on my blog, I stumbled across this color challenge from The Paper Players and fell in love with it! Problem was, having to go to work this morning. (And I need to keep doing that to keep buying stamping supplies!)

I chose to do the sneakers in red because my daughter used to wear red Converse sneakers as a Dr. Who fan. I actually used two shades of craft paper to give the card a more interesting look. Here's my complete supply list:

Stampin' Up! Crumb Cake card stock & ink
Misc. darker craft card stock
Stampin' Up! Real Red card stock & ink
Misc. dotted embossed card stock
Versa Mark Ink
Deep Red Sneakers Stamp
Hero Arts CL342 (sentiment)
Stampin' Up! Background Stamp
Stampin' Up! Brads

I really enjoyed making this card because it's always a challenge making guy cards, and these colors seem to be a good match.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and have a blessed day!

  1. A great card, Barb! I love the tone-on-tone stamping you did on the Kraft paper panel and the fun angle on the sentiment is awesome too. Thank you for joining us at The Paper Players!
